Whilst Templegate Financial Planning Ltd are not independent at the moment, Mark, our MD is, giving our clients' the best of both worlds.
Generally, we will respond to a call or email within 12 hours. The exception is if Mark is on holiday, in which case you will be informed of his return and in the case of an emergency, given an alternative contact.
In the unlikely event of Mark being unable to continue advising clients, there are contingency plans in place to ensure the smooth transition of clients to an alternative adviser. For short-term emergencies, Mark has a locum adviser who will step in.
All potential clients can expect an initial appraisal where we will seek to understand your circumstances, priorities and objectives. This involves a face-to-face meeting or pre-booked telephone call. This stage of the process is carried out without charge or obligation.
In some cases, this will lead to a full wealth or financial strategy review, planning for the future and preparing for the foreseen and unexpected in equal measure. For others, they may simply require ad-hoc advice.
We offer a variety of fee structures which include fixed fees, a percentage of monies invested, or an hourly rate. The fee structure would be agreed with you before any work is undertaken.
We’ll discuss what has motivated you to seek financial advice. More importantly, we’ll have a detailed conversation about your life goals and objectives, and how these apply to your financial goals. Where we are considering your investment needs, we’ll discuss your attitude to investing and the level of risk you can afford to take. From this discussion, we’ll develop a financial plan which will help you to achieve your goals.
We’re happy to meet at your home or workplace during the day, at a time to suit you.
We’ll meet you face-to-face, over the phone or via web-based video conferencing. There will often be an amount of postal correspondence, but we try to use email as much as possible.
