Often clients ask us, “I want the best deal.” Well what does that mean, the cheapest monthly rate or, the cheapest running product over say, a 3 year fixed. The cheapest headline rate may look good on paper but if it has high set up costs it could end up costing your more than a slightly higher rate with little or no fees.

For advice we are paid commission by the lender or charge you a fixed fee. The 3 options are:

  1. No fee. We will receive commission from the lender or
  2. A Fee of £200 payable at the outset and £800 payable when you apply for a mortgage. We will refund any commission we receive from the lender or
  3. A Fee of £400. We will also receive commission from the lender
